Similar to a magnifying glass, the Magnifier app in Windows is used to produce a magnified image of an object on one’s screen so one can see and read better. This is useful for people with poor vision or has difficulties seeing objects on their computer screen. If you know a computer will often be used by people with low vision, it may be helpful to have the Magnifier turn on automatically. How to auto-start Magnifier in Windows 11
As mentioned above, Magnifier makes part or all of your screen bigger so you can see words and images better. It’s easy to automatically start Magnifier in Windows 11. Windows 11 has a centralized location for the majority of its settings app. From system configurations to creating new users and updating Windows, all can be done from the System Settings pane. To get to System Settings, you can use the Windows key + I shortcut or click on Start ==> Settings as shown in the image below: Alternatively, you can use the search box on the taskbar and search for Settings. Then select to open it. Windows Settings pane should look similar to the image below. In Windows Settings, click Accessibility, and select Magnifier on the right pane of your screen shown in the image below. On the Accessibility > Magnifier settings pane, toggle the switch to On or Off to enable or disable Magnifier in Windows. Then under the Magnifier tile, expand to open and check the boxes to Start Magnifier before sign-in or after sign-in, or both.
