Step 2: Click “Control your PS4 console from a Windows PC” or “Control your PS4 console from a Mac” to download the installer for your Windows PC or Mac. You can also control your PS4 from a mobile device and from a PS5 console as well. The options are available on Sony’s Remote Play official website. Step 3: Accept the “SIE application end user license agreement” and “Privacy policy” terms and conditions and click “Download” to download the Sony’s Remote Play application on your computer. Step 4: Double click on the installer file to start the installation process. Step 5: Since the installation is in process, turn on your console, and update the system software to the latest version. Then go to Settings » Account Management. After that, Enable “Active as Primary PS4“. Step 6: In the console, go to Settings » Enable Remote Play Connection Settings. Note that, your console should be on in order to use Remote Play on your computer screen. So it is better to keep your console on Rest Mode. Step 7: Now move to Settings on your console » Power Save Settings » Set Features Available in Rest Mode » Enable Turning on PS4 from Network. Step 8: Open the Remote Play application on your computer and select “Sign in to PSN”. Step 9: Sign in to your Playstation Network account through the email address and password that is linked with your PlayStation Network account on the PS4 and then click Sign In. Note, If you don’t have a PlayStation Network account, first create an account on your PS4 console and then sign in with that Playstation Network account on the Remote Play application on your computer. Step 10: Select Settings in the Remote Play application on your computer and click “Video Quality for Remote Play”. Choose Resolution and Frame Rate settings as per your screen’s specifications for the best gaming experience and then click “ok”. Step 11: Select “PS4” to connect your PS4 console to the computer. Please wait until it checks the network connection between your PS4 console and the computer. Step 12: Next, connect your PS4 controller to the computer through a USB cable and the PS4 controller will automatically get connected. Now, you will be able to control your Remote Play application screen on your computer through your PS4 controller. Now, since you are logged in, you will be able to enjoy all your PS4 games remotely on your computer screen. But remember that the console is always turned on otherwise you won’t be able to connect your PS4 to your computer system.
