How to hide task view from the taskbar in Windows 11
If you’re not convinced about using Task view in Windows 11, simply hide it from the taskbar. The steps below is how to do it. Windows 11 has a centralized location for the majority of its settings. From system configurations to creating new users and updating Windows, all can be done from its System Settings pane. To get to System Settings, you can use the Windows key + I shortcut or click on Start ==> Settings as shown in the image below: Alternatively, you can use the search box on the taskbar and search for Settings. Then select to open it. Windows Settings pane should look similar to the image below. In Windows Settings, click Personalization, and select Taskbar on the right pane of your screen shown in the image below. On the Taskbar settings pane, toggle the Task view button to the Off position to hide from the taskbar. Changes here are applied immediately. You can now exit the settings pane.
How to show Task view on the Taskbar in Windows 11
If you change your mind above and you want to re-enable the Task view button on the Taskbar, simply reverse the steps above by going to the Start menu ==> Settings ==> Personalization ==> Taskbar and toggle the Task view button to the On position.
