Windows Sonic for Headphones can be used with any headphones, earbuds, or headsets. Windows Dolby providers can be used with home theater systems and other commercial devices. Setting up Spatial sound in Windows 11 is a bit challenging for new users. However, the steps below will show you how to get it done. How to enable or disable spatial sound in Windows 11
Again, as we mentioned above, Windows 11 comes with a Spatial sound feature that provides high-quality sound output from your computer. If you’re going to be watching movies or playing cool video games on your computer, enabling Spatial sound might help enhance your experience. Windows 11 has a centralized location for the majority of its settings. From system configurations to creating new users and updating Windows, all can be done from the System Settings pane. To get to System Settings, you can use the Windows key + I shortcut or click on Start ==> Settings as shown in the image below: Alternatively, you can use the search box on the taskbar and search for Settings. Then select to open it. Windows Settings pane should look similar to the image below. In Windows Settings, click System, and select Sound on the right pane of your screen shown in the image below. In the Sound settings pane, under Output, select the speakers for your Windows 11 computer. If you have multiple speakers, choose the correct one. Then on the Speakers settings pane, turn on Enhance audio as highlighted below. Also, select Spatial sound for the headphone device if you’re using one. Exit and you’re done. In some cases, you may have to restart your computer for the settings to fully apply.
How to disable Spatial sound in Windows 11
If you change your mind about Spatial sound and you want to disable it, reverse the changes above by going to Start ==> Settings ==> Sound ==> Speakers and turn off Spatial sound. That should do it!
